First...still no sign of Mocha...Mom is really heartbroken. She is going to the shelter every day...and is posting signs. Every night she picks up my human brothers and drives the streets calling for her.
Mom also told me that she has scheduled my surgery for February 21...I guess I have a few weeks to say my farwells.
sigh.

Max - farewells? Don't talk like that! You are going to be just fine and you will recover from your surgery in no time. Why? Because you are Maximilian the Valiant and you are one tough pooch!
Just trying to be prepared...I mean do you know what it means...no food after 6pm..no last meal! It is worst than prison!

Wow - I wonder if Mocha found another family to live with - maybe she wanted to be an only dog. Hey - you'll be spoiled after the surgery so there is that to look forward to ... dinner in bed ... soft beds to sleep on ... lots of babying ... not so bad.
Oh.. I hope Mocha is ok now...

i am so sorry about mocha. i worry about him, too. it is sad to think about him in the cold and sad to think about the fighting pits--that's really too horrible to think about. i'm keeping my paws crossed for him that someone nice took him in and that they just haven't seen the signs yet.
what are you having surgery for? i HATE the no food rule.

Hey Max,
Think about how much special treatment you'll get after the surgery--just think, cuddle with Mom, toast crusts, special treats. Small price, if you think about it.
I'm glad Fanny showed back up--keeping paws crossed for Mocha.
