Look at this...it has been five days and the ice still coats the trees. Brrrr...
The schools have been closed and we lost power on Monday for about 5 hours. 
The ice sparkles in the light of streetlamps and the sun. It sure is pretty but so c-c-c-cooold

Glad you didn't lose power for too long. We didn't lose power, but a huge tree limb fell in the backyard and shattered our bird feeder and the spot where Rafe guards the tennis balls. It just missed the house and we shudder to think what would have happened if we'd been outside at the time. Anyway all's well that ends well I suppose.
