News from Frankenpup...

Well my gentlepups, my bandages came off yesterday. I have a 7 inch incision stitched up, not too neatly I might add. The vet practically shaved me bald for heavens sake. I'm thinking the ladies aren't going to be lining up right now. (Opy and Pip do you still love me?)

On a good note, I do feel pretty good and am back to my stern, disciplined self.

My human brother did well yesterday too. Some complications, but minor ones.

Now to the real news. Mocha is gone. This time for good. Her Mom came and got her last night. She has a new place on 11 acres in the countryside. Sounds good, I wish they had taken Lily and Fanny too....just think how quiet things would be here without Fanny and Lily. But I guess this is my own cross to bear...evil sissies.

Well I was going to post a picture of my incision sight, but Mom said it looked too gruesome....so I guess you all will just have to trust me. (I wouldn't want to be responsible for Zach fainting...snicker).

I survived...

barely....It has been a rough couple of days. Everything is sore. Mom is worried about me...but I'm already back to nipping Lily in the butt. But I guess the lump is not good and we won't know what was wrong for a couple weeks. SO keep saying prayers...well not that I need them, but my Mom does.

Maxey's surgery update..

Hi all, Evie here. Mom heard from the vet, Maxey came through the surgery just fine. But the lump doesn't look good and the vet recommended sending it off for testing. One thing is for sure, it isn't just a fatty tumor. Please say some prayers for the next 10 days that it is benign. Mom is really worried.

Tomorrow is D-Day...

I'll be leaving in the morning for surgery...I may not return until thursday. I'm sure Evie will give you an update...sigh. I only take comfort in the fact that I'm not the only one going under. Wookie is getting his much needed dental next month and my oldest human brother is having his 3rd set of ear tubes put in on Monday. Mom is a little stressed, but lets be honest...isn't that normal? As you can see I'm a bit cranky.

well I knew it was coming....

Mom suggested a drive today. I was so excited I pranced around the SUV twice. Then she drove to Pet Supplies Plus, more prancing ensued. But then she left me....ugh. They have a groomer there. I had a bath, a trim AND a nail trim. Mom says I look handsome, but isn't it enough that I am having surgery this week....a bath and grooming seems to just be cruel!
