Duncan asleep on Mom's lap Duncan came home with Mom today. She still has Harry. I'm feeling rather upset. I can tell you it is very crowded and Mom is a little stressed. I like Duncan a whole lot better than Harry. Duncan is calm and quiet and doesn't bug me. Well not yet. For a dog who has never lived in a house he sure did find Mom's bed fast.

That Duncan is smart - not as smart as you though Max!
Hey Max, tell me how many dogs and cats live at your house anyway? Your Mom sounds really nice.
I lost count too .. is it Poo, Harry, and Duncan who are fostering now? Your Mom must have a real big heart (and lap too!)
Hey, Duncan looks so peaceful sleeping there. But I'm sure you are cuter, Maxi!

Well there is definately a "No room at the Inn" sign on the door. Me and my sissies boycotted Mom's room last night. Just to recap Mom owns me, Lily and Evie. She is fostering Fanny, Starry, Harry, Poo and Duncan. Only Harry and Duncan will probably ever be adopted. Mom is a little overwhelmed, she always said no more than six...and ever that is more than she would like. Five is the usual norm...but I guess she figured Poo was more like a Doglet.
Duncan is very little trouble. But he is HUGE! He is the same size that Willow was (she was a rough coat collie). He hasn't barked or growled. He did sleep with his head on mom's shoulder. I doubt he and Harry will be here long. Mom also said that Starry was going to be listed for adoption soon now that she is finally healthy.
Fanny is just like every other dog in the shelter, but she is hard to crate and jumps the fence so she is harder to place. She has been here since February. She is really nice and sweet and terribly smart.
